  1. This is disk 290 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. DPlot        A simple display program for experimental data, with the
  6.         goals of supporting paging through lots of data and 
  7.         providing comfortable scaling and presentation.  This is
  8.         version 2.0, an update to version 1.0 on disk 237, and
  9.         incorporates several significant enhancements.  Binary
  10.         only.
  11.         Author:  A. A. Walma

  13. IPC        An IPC (Inter-Process Communication) package, with the
  14.         goal of creating a standard for IPC on the Amiga that
  15.         is flexible enough to handle the widest possible range
  16.         of applications.  The protocol used addresses different
  17.         problem areas than ARexx, and emphasizes different aspects
  18.         of the communication process, such as fast communication
  19.         and preservation of data structure.  Includes source.

  22. KillReq        A small program which disables Intuition's AutoRequest
  23.         function.  In particular, this prevents AmigaDOS from
  24.         putting up system requesters, which is useful if you are
  25.         operating your Amiga remotely and can't use the mouse to
  26.         click CANCEL.  Unlike similar utilities which affect only
  27.         a single CLI, KillReq disables ALL requesters.  This is
  28.         version 1.0 and includes C source.

  31. Xicon        Xicon lets you use icons to call up scripts containing CLI
  32.         commands.  This is version 2.5, an update to version 2.01
  33.         on disk 157.  New features include automatic selection of
  34.         the correct execution directory, the option to have
  35.         keyboard interaction, and the use of IF, ELSE, etc DOS
  36.         commands.  Binary only.
